Website Disclaimer

Last updated: October 2026

Please read this notice before you use backgroundshame.garden. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

Referral Only

Backgroundshame Mold Help is a referral and marketing service. We link homeowners with independent mold inspection, testing and remediation providers. We do not inspect homes, take samples, remove mold or make repairs. If anyone works in your home, it is an independent provider, not Backgroundshame Mold Help.

Health Questions

Nothing on this website is medical or health advice. We make no claims about how mold may affect anyone's health. If you or someone in your home has health worries, talk to a doctor or another qualified health professional.

A Connection Is Not an Endorsement

Being linked with a provider does not mean we endorse that provider. We make no promise about the quality, timing, cost, test results or outcome of any provider's work. We also cannot promise that a provider will have openings in your area at a given time. Providers answer for their own licenses, insurance, training and conduct.

General Information

What you read here is general information, not professional, legal, insurance or financial advice. Each home and each mold problem is different. Talk with a qualified provider about your own situation.

About Costs

Any cost figures here are typical U.S. ranges. They are not quotes. They vary with the job, the location, the materials and how far the problem has spread. Ask the provider for a written estimate before work begins.

About Insurance

What we say about insurance is general. We cannot tell you whether your policy covers mold. That depends on your policy and on your insurer's decision. Ask your insurer or agent about your coverage.

Stay Safe

Mold work can stir up spores, expose damaged materials and uncover hidden water or electrical hazards. Do not put yourself at risk. If you think someone's life or safety is in danger, contact local emergency services first.

How We Are Paid

Backgroundshame Mold Help may receive payment from providers or marketing partners when we connect them with homeowners. Our Referral Marketing Disclosure has the details.

Accuracy

We try to keep this website correct and current. We cannot warrant that it is complete or without errors.
